A head-on crash involving a motorcycle and a car on a main road left a person needing urgent treatment at a major trauma centre.
The London Ambulance Service (LAS) was called at 12.05pm yesterday (April 16) to North Street, Romford, to reports of a collision and urgently sent personnel.
An advanced paramedic, ambulance crews and an incident response officer were dispatched.
"Our first paramedic was on the scene in under a minute," an LAS spokesperson said.

The LAS treated the person in North Street before taking the individual for urgent care at a hospital.
Police also attended after being called at 12.19pm to reports of a crash between a car and a motorbike.
"There were no life changing or threatening injuries and no arrests," police added.
Elsewhere in Havering, police were called to Lambs Lane South in Rainham last Saturday (April 13) to reports a car had crashed into a tree near a school.
Three men were found seriously injured by paramedics and one has since been arrested.
They are all in stable condition now.
