POLICE have arrested a man after an expensive bracelet was stolen from a home in south Staffordshire.

A man entered a property, near Bratch Lane, on the morning of April 3 after saying he was an antiques dealer and after he left a solid gold charm bracelet was noticed to be missing.

A woman, in her 70s, was said to be left shaken by the incident but was not physically harmed.

Following extensive enquiries and help from the public following a police appeal, officers from South Staffordshire Police arrested a 66-year-old man on Saturday (April 13).

The man, from Shropshire, was arrested on suspicion of burglary with intent to steal and he has been released on conditional bail while enquiries continue.
