Bexley High Street was cordoned off this morning during police investigations into blood found in a car park.

Officers have said that they believe it resulted from a person's medical episode.

No victim of crime has been identified and no arrests have been made.

Forensics were seen at the scene today along with police.

Pictures from the scene show blood smeared alongside a white car in the car park.

A statement from Metropolitan Police reads: “Police cordons were in place in Bexley High Street this morning as police investigated blood found at the location.

“A person has been spoken to. It is believed that the blood was the result of this person experiencing a medical episode.

“No victim of crime has been identified and there has been no arrest.”
