New flats could be created out of vacant offices in Camden High Street under one planning application to be considered.

The applications have all been submitted to Camden Council between April 6 and April 12 in the Ham & High readership area.

The council is currently reviewing each application and has yet to make a decision on any of them.

There are nine extensions planned for properties across the borough of Camden.

These are in Abbot's Place (2024/0458/P), Steele's Road (2024/0439/P), Hillfield Road (2024/0835/P), Cotleigh Road (2024/0985/P), Ingham Road (2024/1008/P), Oakley Square (2024/0398/P), Rosslyn Hill (2024/0827/P) and Mornington Terrace (2024/0940/P).

Near Finchley Road, a loft conversion could take place at a home in Weech Road (2024/0256/P).

In Camden High Street, there are plans to turn the vacant office space in Centenary House above Halifax bank into flats (2024/1055/P).

The change would include building an extra storey to the building to provide six flats – three of one bedroom, two of two bedrooms and a three bedroom home on the top floor.

Vacant office space at St Martins House in nearby Polygon Road could also be turned into flats (2024/1054/P).

Under current proposals, the space would be split into two single bedroom flats.

In Belsize Park, two flats at 31 Primrose Gardens could be turned into a single family home under one new application (2024/0898/P).

Closer towards the Heath, there are plans to build a glazed orangery at one property in Holford Road (2024/1155/P).

An outbuilding is planned nearby in the garden of a flat in Denning Road (2024/0546/P).

At 13 South Hill Park Gardens, two flats could be combined to create a single three bedroom home (2024/0227/P).
