- A man has been arrested and is custody on suspicion of stealing a car
- Police officers attempted to stop a vehicle believed to be stolen on St Barnabas Terrace, in Hackney
- The driver failed to stop and crashed the car in Wardle Street following a pursuit by officers.
- He tried to flee on foot but was caught and arrested.
