A leisure centre in Harold Hill that was shut after chemicals were found is now reopen.
The incident happened at the Central Park Leisure Centre in Gooshays Drive last night and London Fire Brigade were called at 10.02pm.
The venue, run by Everyone Active, was shut after fire crews checked it for "elevated readings of chemical substances”.
Firefighters ventilated the property after identifying chemicals in a bucket in the plant room and a man was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service.

Tom Fletcher, area contract manager for Everyone Active, told the Recorder that the venue reopened at 12.45pm today.
“The closure was due to an operational issue in our plant room. We apologise for any inconvenience caused”, he added.
Their health suite, he said, will be closed until Saturday but all the other facilities will be unaffected.
A spokesperson for Everyone Active further confirmed that no members of public were affected because the spa and pool were closed to the public at the time of the incident.
"The incident was isolated and contained within the plant room.
"The levels occurred due to an unintentional addition of one product to another during the replenishment process. This was identified immediately and isolated in the plant room", she said.
