A woman was rushed to hospital with 'serious injuries' after a crash that shut down a major street for hours.
High Road, Wood Green, was closed for over two hours after reports of a pedestrian being hit by a lorry today (April 10) at 4.19pm.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital to be treated for her serious injuries, the Metropolitan Police said.
The force added that it is working to inform the next of kin and specialist detectives are investigating the incident.

The road was shut both ways from Gladstone Avenue to Alexandra Road.
Multiple bus routes are also being diverted from the area including the: 29, 67, 121, 123, 141, 144, 184, 221, 230, 232, 329, W4.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting CAD 4949/10April.
