A popular restaurant based in the seaside town of Whitstable is opening a new pop-up shop to celebrate a year in business.

Nip & Cluck opened its doors last year in Whitstable serving popular dishes like seafood, lobster and fire-powered chicken.

Celebrating its first year, the restaurant is set to open its first London pop-up named Surf & Turfz in The Workers League in The Royal Parade Mews on April 25.

The restaurant, created by Jim Thomlinson, has become a firm favourite with Whitstable locals and visitors, earning 4 stars in the Telegraph Magazine from William Sitwell.

The business will also be collaborating with London businesses including Two Tribes in King’s Cross and Davy’s Wine Merchants in Greenwich.

Diners will be able to select from dishes like steak from London butcher Turner & George and trademark dishes like Nip & Cluck’s brined and fire-roasted chicken and seasonal shellfish.

The pop-up will also feature a selection of Nip & Cluck’s table sauces, freshly made and bottled onsite.

Bookings for Surf & Turfz on April 25 can be made online.
