A person has been taken to hospital after being found bleeding near Erith train station.

London Ambulance Service crews were called to Walnut Tree Road just before 7.40pm on April 1.

An ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, and an incident response officer also attended.

The person was found injured and taken to hospital for further treatment where their condition is unknown.

We have contacted Metropolitan Police to clarify the nature of the incident.

A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 7:36 on the evening of Monday, 1 April to reports of a person bleeding on Walnut Tree Road, Erith, DA8.

“We sent resources to the scene including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, and an incident response officer. We also sent a trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance by car.

“We treated a patient at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre.”
