Six teenagers are accused of carrying out a transphobic stabbing attack on an 18-year-old trans girl.

The girl, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, is said to have been set upon in Masons Drive on February 10. 

She suffered stab wounds and was later discharged from hospital, police said.

It is also alleged that days before the stabbing she was the subject of revenge porn disclosed by one of the boys involved in the violent incident. 

On Friday (April 4) Summer Betts-Ramsey, 19, from Barnet, Shiloh Hindes, 18, from Southwark, a 16-year-old girl and three boys, one aged 16 and two aged 17, appeared at the Old Bailey. 

Together they are charged with attempted murder of the trans teenager and causing her grievous bodily harm with intent. 

Betts-Ramsey is accused of having a knife in Masons Drive, Harrow, on the same day. 

One of the 17-year-old boys is charged with disclosing a private sexual photograph or film of the victim on or before January 29 with intent to cause her distress. 

He also is charged with threatening her with a blade in a private place on the same day. 

The 16-year-old girl is accused of having cannabis on February 28. 

During the hearing Judge Mark Lucraft KC said a trial would provisionally take place at the Old Bailey from January 20, 2024 with an estimated duration of six to eight weeks. 

The judge set an adjourned plea and case management hearing for June 3 and a further hearing on April 12. 

All but one of the defendants appeared in court by video link and spoke only to confirm their identities.
