A woman has been taken to hospital after she fell from scaffolding on Eltham High Street.

Police were called at 12.50am yesterday (Thursday), to reports of a person on scaffolding at Eltham High Street.

A woman at the scene fell from the scaffolding.

Emergency services attended the scene and safety cordons were put in place.

The woman, aged in her 20s, was treated at the scene before being taken to a south London hospital.

Her injuries are not life threatening and there has been no arrests.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 12.50am on Thursday, April 4 to reports of a person on scaffolding at Eltham High Street.

"A woman at the scene fell from the scaffolding.

"Officers, London Fire Brigade and London Ambulance Service attended.

"Safety cordons were established and the woman, aged 20s, was treated at the scene before being taken to a south London hospital.

"Her injuries were not life threatening.

"There were no arrests.”
