A Kinder egg pot containing cannabis led to a man's arrest in Romford.

The Metropolitan Police arrested a man, 31, on Monday (March 25), on suspicion of cannabis possession after a stop-and-search in Main Road.

The Romford Town Safer Neighbourhoods Team said he had a Kinder egg pot, usually filled with a chocolate treat, containing the drug.

They said he was spotted by "eagle eyed" officers, and posted to X, formerly Twitter.
