An animal sanctuary which counts former One Direction star Zayn Malik as an ambassador is set to reopen just in time for Easter weekend.
Hopefield Animal Sanctuary in Brentwood will reopen on Friday (March 29).
The sanctuary shut for refurbishment, including the introduction of a dog groomers service called Brentwood Bubbles ‘n’ Barks and a private dog park.
Dave Schlaich, Hopefield chief executive, said: "We’re really looking forward to welcoming visitors back [and] [....] making sure that Hopefield continues to be the most ethical choice for seeing animals in the area."

Hopefield, where 2006 X Factor winner Leona Lewis is also a trustee, will also be providing boarding for small animals: a place for them to eat, sleep and exercise.
Mr Schlaich's message echoes Zayn's in December 2023 when he joined, who said: "Hopefield Animal Sanctuary provides a safe place for abandoned and mistreated animals.
