Police are hunting for a convicted arsonist who escaped while on escorted leave from a secure medical facility in Bexleyheath.
Joseph Cachia, 43, was last seen in a coffee shop in Bexleyheath Town Centre on March 9.
He is described by police as white, approximately 6ft tall of average build with ginger hair and glasses.
Cachia was last seen wearing a green jacket, dark green t-shirt, light green tracksuit and yellow socks with black trainers.
Members of the public are advised not to approach Cachia but to call 999 immediately if he is seen.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is advised to call 101 and quote ref: 01/65788/24.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police are appealing for information to locate a man who absconded while on escorted leave from a medical facility in south east London.
“Joseph Cachia, 43, was last seen in a coffee shop in Bexleyheath Town Centre on 9 March. He is currently at a secure medical facility as a result of a conviction for arson.
“He is a described as white, approximately 6ft tall of average build with ginger hair and glasses. He was last seen wearing a green jacket, dark green t-shirt, light green tracksuit and yellow socks with black trainers.”
