These are the roads in Greenwich where drivers had to wait the longest – according to new data.

New Government data released has revealed the Greenwich roads with the longest delay times for motorists in 2023.

Data recorded from the years of 2019 to 2023 revealed the roads in the UK with the longest and shortest wait times calculated by seconds per vehicle mile, equating the seconds a motorist was held up for each mile travelled.

The road with the longest wait times for drivers in Greenwich according to data was the A200 - a busy road linking Greenwich with London Bridge, where motorists had to wait an average of 294.8 seconds per vehicle mile.

This was followed by the A2203 linking drivers from East Greenwich to the Blackwall Tunnel, with average wait times of 242.2 seconds per vehicle mile, and the A208 linking Eltham to Orpington, with average wait times for drivers of 158.6 seconds her vehicle mile.

The road with the shortest wait times in the list was the A2016 linking Plumstead to Erith, with wait times for drivers of 50 seconds per vehicle mile.
