Road restrictions will be in place for nine months as a bridge is set to be demolished and rebuilt.

The work at Stanhope Road in Highgate involves replacing the bridge and resurfacing the carriageway and footways.

Haringey Council’s public notice says that the demolition and construction will last from March 18 to December 20.

There will be several traffic restrictions, including the suspension of all parking and no waiting or loading at any time on both sides of Stanhope Road between its junction with Claremont Road and Wychwood End.

Likewise, no parking or waiting and loading can happen at Avenue Road from its junction with Stanhope Road.

A bikehangar on the northeast side of Stanhope Road will be relocated from opposite Parkgate Mews to the western end of the resident permit holder only bays opposite No.45/47 Avenue Road.
