A new gate for Camden's historic Stable Market is among the latest designs tabled for planners.

The applications have all been submitted to Camden Council between February 26 to March 3 in the Ham & High readership area.

The council is currently reviewing each application and has yet to make a decision on any of them.

In Finchley Road, there are plans to create four flats in a newly-built extension (2023/5180/P).

The three-storey structure will be attached to an existing building containing a shop and a three-bedroom flat.

Current proposals indicate three single bedroom flats, and a single three bedroom flat, would be built, a reduction of one flat from an undetermined application for the same site from 2021.

At another building in Finchley Road, there are plans to convert an existing four-bedroom flat into two flats – one with three bedrooms and another with two bedrooms (2024/0274/P).

Over in Camden Town, there are plans to build a “demountable” roof terrace to a listed home in Arlington Road (2023/5443/P and 2024/0700/L).

A new gate at the entrance to Stables Market, reading – ‘Camden Market The Stables Since 1854 Welcomes All’ – to replace the existing signage has also been proposed (2024/0721/P).

In Cricklewood, there are plans to build a single-storey rear extension to a house in Ebbsfleet Road (2024/0362/P).

An existing house in Heath Hurst Road, Hampstead, could be split into two separate flats if a new application submitted to the council is approved (2024/0524/P).

In Brecknock Road, Kentish Town, an existing first floor conservatory could be replaced by a rear extension (2023/5303/P).

A ground floor side and rear extension with an internal courtyard is also planned for the same property.

Over in Kilburn, one applicant has asked to build a back extension to a ground floor flat in Priory Terrace (2023/5316/P).

The roof of the new extension would be used as a terrace for the flat above.

An outbuilding could also be built at a different basement flat in the same road (2024/0297/P).

A similar plan has been submitted for a property in West Hampstead Mews (2023/5373/P).

Another application asks to split an existing shop in Kilburn High Road into two (2023/5404/P).
