A driver has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a car crashed into a parked car in South Norwood.
The incident happened in Portland Road at around 7.30pm yesterday (March 5).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews were called to the scene.
The driver of the car was arrested on suspicion of drink driving following the incident.
He was taken into police custody where he remains.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called to Portland Street, SE25 at about 19:30hrs on Tuesday, 5 March following reports that a car had collided with a parked car.
“Officers and colleagues in LFB attended the scene.
“The male driver was arrested on suspicion of drink driving in connection with the incident.
“He was taken into custody where he remains.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
