Police car damaged in Romford Road Manor Park crash

The Recorder reported yesterday (February 27) how a police crime scene was put in place on the corner of Romford Road just outside the Manor Park Library, following the collision.

Images from the scene shows how a police car had collided with another car. 

The car that was hit by the police car displayed a large dent. (Image: Yas Min Khan)The crash was captured on camera footage, showing the moment a police car made contact with a second car on the corner of Romford Road as they were coming off High Street North.

A Met Police spokesperson said: "The driver of the other car, a man, was taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing.

A police cordon was in place on the corner of Romford Road following the crash, which also caused damage to a nearby electrics box on the pavement, just outside Manor Park Library.

Both cars were pictured with significant damage.
