Popular Secret Dome Tours in Greenwich’s Old Royal Naval College

Following a sell-out run in Autumn 2023, the popular Secret Dome Tours will be returning from March 22, running until October 2024.

It will mark the first time the public has ever had access to this space.

These exclusive and rare tours give visitors the chance to go behind the scenes of one of the famous 300-year-old domes designed by renowned architect Christopher Wren.

On the tour, guests will climb the steps to the top of the inside of the Chapel Dome, offering views of Greenwich and the London skyline.

The tour will also involve seeing the inner workings of the turret clock and a chance to see the beautifully designed Chapel of St Peter and St Paul, designed by James ‘Athenian Stuart’ in the 18th century, and was also rumoured to be a filming location for the upcoming series three of Bridgerton.

Guests will learn about the history of the dome and how it was used over its 300-year history, including in WWII, with a chance to see the remnants of graffiti left behind over the centuries.

The Secret Dome Tours run on Fridays, Saturdays and Bank Holiday Mondays, with a maximum of six admitted for each tour.

Tickets cost £48 per person and also include history tours of the site, the blockbuster movie tours, the new Chocolate House Greenwich exhibition and entry to the Painted Hall.
