Bromley South is the worst train station for late services in south east London, according to data by On Time Trains.

The data (which uses information from the past six months) reveals that Bromley South is the 66th busiest train station in the UK, serving an average of 17,282 passengers per day.

Bromley South is the worst for punctuality across all 55 stations in the south east London boroughs of Bexley, Bromley, Lewisham and Greenwich.

Operated by Southeastern Railways, the station handles a substantial number of daily commuters and travellers.

The punctuality of trains at Bromley South varies, with 45 per cent of services arriving on time.

32 per cent experience a slight delay of one to two minutes, while 11 per cent are delayed by three to four minutes.

A smaller percentage of trains face more significant delays, with seven per cent running five to nine minutes late and three per cent arriving ten or more minutes behind schedule.

The data also indicates that two per cent of services are cancelled.

Over the last six months, Bromley South has operated a total of 60,241 services, earning it the 1,169th spot out of 2,629 stations nationwide when ranked for punctuality.

Despite its ranking as the worst in south east London, the station achieved an overall score of 86 on Check My Station, highlighting a generally okay service for the majority of commuters.
