The first floor of a detached chalet bungalow in Lee Green has been destroyed by a fire.
Firefighters were called to a fire on Balder Rise in Grove Park at 5.29am yesterday (Tuesday).
Half of the roof of the detached bungalow was also damaged by the fire.
There are currently no reports of any injuries.
The fire was under control by just before 11am.
The cause of the fire has been determined as accidental.
Six fire engines and 40 firefighters from Lee Green, Bromley and Eltham attended the scene.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackled a fire at a detached chalet bungalow on Balder Rise in Grove Park.
“The first floor was destroyed by the fire. Half of the roof was also damaged by the fire.
“There are currently no reports of any injuries.
“The Brigade was called at 0529 and the fire was under control by 1058. Firefighters from Lee Green, Bromley and Eltham attended the scene.
“The cause of the fire has been determined as accidental."
