Shrove Tuesday, better known as Pancake Day, is happening on Tuesday, February 13, and to mark the occasion we’ve put together a list of some of the best places we think you should try for your pancake fix.

Whether you are looking for an affordable place to scoff bottomless pancakes, or crepes and ice cream if you have a sweet tooth, south east London has spots to suit your pancake tastes.

Here’s our list:

Bill’s Restaurant, Greenwich

For Pancake Day, the popular Bill’s chain is offering diners the chance to feast on bottomless pancakes all day for £7.59.

Diners can choose from a range of flavours including classics like Strawberries and Cream or Chocolate, as well as new flavours like Blueberry Crumble and Banana and Butterscotch, especially for Pancake Day, with guests able to vote for their favourite to stay as an all-year-round staple.

Vegans can also try Bill’s new Vegan Blueberry Pancakes, a new addition to the menu.

Madeleine’s Creperie, Blackheath

If you’re someone who likes crepes, then head over to Madeleine’s Creperie in Blackheath Village.

The menu offers an assortment of crepes and waffles with a variety of toppings like Nutella, strawberries and cream and Oreo, with prices starting at £5.95.

But if you’re more of a savoury person they also offer savoury breakfast and brunch options like Eggs Benedict and breakfast baps.
