Rolling Quartz, a Korean rock band, is in town! With hits such as Blaze and Good Night, they entertained the crowd at the O2 Academy Islington last weekend with immense success!

Rolling Quartz is a K-rock girl band consisting of 5 members:Areum (bassist), Iree (guitarist), Youngeun (drummer), Jayoung (vocalist), and Hyunjung (guitarist). The group debuted in December 2020 under Rolling Star Entertainment. Their most popular song is their debut track, ‘Blaze’, with over 2.4 million streams on Spotify and over 1.4 million views on Youtube. Their most recent song release is ‘Fearless’- you should go check it out!

‘The concert was just spectacular, I had been wanting to see Rolling Quartz for ages and it was one of the best experiences of my life. The pounding of the bass through the speakers and the lead singer’s vocals were just fantastic.’ - Camille Vannier

My favourite part of the concert was definitely how the bass would pound under your feet, and you could feel your heart thumping. The atmosphere was amazing as everybody was enjoying the concert to the fullest, and the venue was very personal and smaller than regular arenas, as it was more of a small rock show setup- which I quite enjoyed, as I felt closer to the artist, compared to larger arenas where you can’t see anything and the artist is very far away. This experience made me appreciate live shows of indie groups, as they are much more engaging, and you can see much more!

I agree that going to a small rock concert is a must have life experience- when Rolling Quartz comes back to the UK, you should consider attending their concert! It will be one of the best experiences of your life!
