With Christmas now behind us and the new year firmly ahead it seems as though the Christmas spirit has dwindled and is now deceased but let’s not forget that across the entirety of London Christmas celebrations are still in full swing after all we are only at the start of the 12 days of Christmas Although it mas seem as though we are back to the monotonous routine with no more holidays and without presents we are still firmly in the midst of the Christmas season. While out in Covent Garden I was shocked to learn of public opinion with people throwing out their trees and complaining that the large central tree was still standing this shocking insight has lead me to believe that almost everyone has forgotten about the 12 days of Christmas starting December 25th and finishing on January 6th. With a member of the public stating ‘ I’m not sure when the 12 days of Christmas are.’ So before you turn off your Christmas music or take down you festive decorations let us not forget to take the Christmas spirit into the new year. There are plenty of Christmas events to keep you in the festive mood with themed markets across Covent Garden and events in Notting Hill along with the large assortment of Christmas tv and radio. So whether you’re staying at home or going out on the town I wish you and your friends and family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
