The Whitgift Centre in Croydon has long been a favourite destination for shopping and leisure activities.

Since its opening in the late 1960s, it has served as a go-to place for locals to find everything from groceries to last-minute Christmas gifts.

However, over the past 10 years, 31 shops have closed their doors.

In 2023, there were two closures: Sainsbury's and the second floor of WHSmith.

As a result, there are currently several empty stores and vacant spaces, some of which have been unoccupied for nearly a decade.

We've compiled a list of the 31 places The Whitgift Centre has lost in the last 10 years.
