A man has been found stabbed to death behind a squat in Tottenham.
The body of 42-year-old Javengis Jaronis was found stabbed to death at 3.59am on Thursday behind an old pub used by squatters in High Road, Tottenham, following a tip-off from a member of the public.
Next of kin have been informed.
His body was covered in knife wounds and he had also suffered injuries to his head.
Detectives from the Homicide Serious Crime Command have launched a murder inquiry and an incident room will open later today. A post mortem is to be carried out in due course.
Two men and a woman were arrested near the murder scene and have been taken to police stations in north London.
Police are now appealing for witnesses and urge anyone with information to contact them at the incident room on 0208 358 0200. They are particularly keen speak to anyone who has any connections with the group.
