A dog owner from Belvedere has been fined after a man was injured due to a dangerously out-of-control dog in Erith.
Jaylea Giles, 25, pleaded guilty on August 17 to owning or being in charge of a dangerously out-of-control dog.
Jaylea Giles, of Heron Hill in Belvedere, was in charge of a grey Staffordshire Bull Terrier which was out of control on Lydia Road, Erith, and injured a man on May 10.
The violation of sections 3(1) and (4) of the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 led to the conviction.
Giles was ordered to compensate the victim £400 with an additional fine of £80.
Her guilty plea was considered when determining the punishment.
Giles is also expected to cover prosecution costs of £50 and a surcharge of £32 which she must pay by November 16.
