National Lottery was hunting for the winner of an unclaimed Set for Life prize, and now he's come forward he isn't the only one.

National Lottery had been searching for the Sutton resident after he hadn’t claimed his prize when the draw was announced last month.

The Sutton local is Set For Life after scooping £10,000 a month for a year in The National Lottery.

Camelot UK Lotteries Limited, the operator of the lottery, confirmed that it has received the claim from the Set For Life draw that took place on Monday, October 9.

They also said that another local, only known as Mr B, claimed the exact same prize from the Set For Life draw held just a week earlier, on Monday, October 2.

Both winners picked their tickets in the London Borough of Sutton and matched the five main numbers required to win the second-tier prize.

Mr B, who played a Lucky Dip via the National Lottery's online portal, intends to spend his winnings on a holiday.

Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said: “What amazing news for these lucky ticket-holders who can now look forward to receiving £10,000 every month for a year.

“Sutton is clearly a lucky place to live.

“This is a fantastic way to start the month, and with October having been very lucky for Set For Life players with three top prizes and 11 second-tier prizes won, who knows what’s in store for November."
