Police are appealing to the public after 121 wraps of cocaine were found in Belvedere.

Whilst on routine patrol, a police officer said he saw two males acting suspiciously in Frank Park.

The officer, PCSO Worrall, watched from a distance and noticed the males were hiding something inside a tree stump.

Police say he “remained situationally aware”, turning his body cameras on and capturing their description and the vehicle they got into.

The officer then searched the area and found a large stash of cocaine.

The investigation is now ongoing.

Police hope to “catch up” with the “rightful owners”.
