Over the course of the night until 9am today (September 25), a police stop and search order was in place across Brent including Wembley Park, Dollis Hill, Welsh Harp, Willesden Green, Cricklewood & Mapesbury and Tokyngton.

This was due to several incidents of "serious violence”.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said this follows a non-fatal stabbing in Neasden.

The spokesperson added: “Whilst we would of course retain an open mind, there is nothing to suggest the two incidents are linked at this time.”

Police enquiries into the two stabbings continue.
