Planned engineering work will take place on certain Southeastern Railway lines this weekend, closing some lines.

The work will be taking place from Monday (September 18) and Friday (September 22) on particular routes and may impact your journey.

We have compiled all of the information about this work so that you can properly plan your travel this weekend.

Monday only (September 18)

From 11pm until the end of service, accessible buses replace trains between Tonbridge and Wadhurst / Hastings.

Tuesday only (September 19)

From 11.40pm until the end of service accessible buses replace trains between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings and will run between:

  • Tunbridge Wells and Battle (calling at Wadhurst only)
  • Battle and Hastings (calling at all stations except Crowhurst)
  • Tunbridge Wells and Robertsbridge (calling at all stations)
  • Battle and Crowhurst (mini bus shuttle)

Monday, Wednesday and Thursday (September 18, 20, 21)

The 11.20pm and 11.50pm London St Pancras International to Faversham services will be replaced by accessible buses between Ebbsfleet International, Gillingham and Faversham.

From 11.20pm until the end of service, accessible buses replace trains between Sittingbourne and Sheerness-on-Sea.

Monday to Thursday (September 18 to 21)

From 11.50pm until the end of service, accessible buses replace trains between Beckenham Junction and Orpington.

From 11.35pm until the end of service, accessible buses replace trains between Maidstone East and Ashford International.

The 10.25pm and 11.25pm London Victoria to Ashford services will be diverted between Otford and Ashford to run via Sevenoaks.

Change at Otford for a connecting service to Maidstone East, and the onward replacement bus for stations to Ashford.

The 12.25am London Victoria to Ashford service will only run between London Victoria and Maidstone East.

Trains between London Charing Cross / London Cannon Street and Maidstone East will stop additionally at Kemsing, East Malling and Barming.

Tuesday to Friday ( September 19 – 22)

From 12.10am until the end of service, trains towards Orpington will not stop at Lewisham.

Passengers will need to change at Hither Green for services towards Orpington.

Accessible buses will run between Lewisham and Hither Green.

The 1.07am bus from Lewisham will be extended to Orpington.

An accessible bus will also leave London Bridge at 01:10 calling at all stations to Lewisham only.

Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (September 19, 21 and 22)

From 12.10am until the end of service, accessible buses replace trains between Gillingham and Faversham.

A connecting train will run from Faversham to Ramsgate.

Accessible buses will run between:

  • Gillingham and Faversham calling at all stations except Teynham
  • Sittingbourne and Faversham mini bus calling at Teynham

Wednesday and Thursday (September 20 and 21)

The 11.07pm London St Pancras International to Ramsgate via Dover service will be diverted between Dover Priory and Ramsgate to run via Faversham.

An accessible bus will run between Dover Priory and Ramsgate via Sandwich.
