I recently had the pleasure of dining at 144 on the Hill in Richmond, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish.

Opposite Richmond Park, 144 on the Hill is a restaurant and bar with plenty of cosy dining areas and Instagram-worthy interior designs.

As my friend and I walked into the restaurant, I was captivated by the restaurant's elegant and welcoming ambiance.

The decor was tasteful, and the warm lighting created a cosy atmosphere for the customers dining.

The 144 on the Hill menu offers a wide variety of dishes to cater to different tastes and preferences.

Whether you're a fan of seafood, meat, or vegetarian options, you'll find something to suit your taste.

I started with the basil burrata, which was sat on a bed of balsamic tomato jam, olive dust and walnuts – this was priced at £13.50.

My friend had a king prawn and cured salmon cocktail with chilli mango and caviar – this was £12.

Both options were undeniably gorgeous; the tomato jam gave it a sweet surprise whilst the burrata was rich and creamy.

For the main course, we both opted for the rare breed pressed pork belly with orchard cider compote – this was priced at £23.

It’s safe to say that I was not disappointed with my choice – the flavours were exquisite, and the pork quite literally melted in your mouth.

The sauce had a subtle pear taste which made it a great pair with the pork, and the sides tasted as good as the price mark.

The wine selection was impressive; my friend and I enjoyed a belove bottle of Pino Grigio which really was the icing on the cake.

What sets 144 on the Hill apart, though, is the impeccable service.

The waitstaff was attentive without being intrusive, and they went out of their way to ensure that our dining experience was exceptional.

The attention to detail and genuine care for the guests truly made a difference.

To cap off the evening, I had a little look around 144 and took in the stunning designs scattered around the restaurant.

This Is Local London: Similarly, to The Ivy chain restaurants, 144 featured many eye-catching, colourful ornaments and was surrounded in plants and pastel colours.

My favourite design was the feathered chandeliers which hung above the tables – if I could have taken it home for my bedroom, I really would have.

After our delicious dinner, we headed to the famous pub featured in the TV series Ted Lasso, which is about a fifteen minute walk away.

This Is Local London: In conclusion, 144 on the Hill in Richmond is a gem of a restaurant.

It offers a delightful combination of delectable cuisine, elegant ambiance, and exceptional service.
