A man and a woman are in hospital following a shooting in Wembley earlier this morning.
The man, in his 20s, was left at a west London hospital around 4.10am this morning in a life-threatening condition.
He has had surgery and is now in a stable condition in hospital.
Officers believe he was driven to the west London hospital and dropped off following a shooting elsewhere.
They were called at 4am to Blenheim Gardens, Wembley, where a woman in her 30s was found with a single gun shot wound.
She was rushed to hospital where her condition is stable and her injuries are not life threatening.
Officer believe at this stage the two shootings are related, but are keeping an open mind as to the motive.
No arrests have been made, and officers from Brent Police and Trident, the Met's black gun crime unit, are investigating.
