A man has been arrested after a series of exposure offences in Thamesmead.

On June 7, officers on patrol in the Thamesmead area were notified of a potential sighting of a man in the area.

The man, who is suspected of committing the offences, was later arrested by officers and was taken to a police station in the South London area.

@MPSBexley tweeted: “#Arrested 🚨 “Superb work by @MPSThamesmeadE and taking ownership of an issue on the ward.

“Officers from Thamesmead SNT managed to track down a male who was suspected of committing a linked series of exposure offences.

“DWOs patrolled possible venues daily to track the male and attempt to prevent further offending and on Wednesday the 7th of June they were alerted that the male was sighted in Thamesmead.

“Officers headed out immediately and were able to track him down and arrest the male.

“The male was taken to a South London Police Station where the investigation continues.
