A teenage boy in Bexley has been robbed of his Moncler jacket and threatened with a knife on his walk home.

On Tuesday (May 9) at around 11.55pm a teenage boy was followed home on his evening walk from a bus to his home in Bexley.

He was approached on Woodberry Grove by a man who police say had been on the same bus as the teenager.

The man allegedly threatened the teenager with a knife and stole his black Moncler jacket.

Investigating officer PC Ellis Langford said: “Following initial investigations, which included house-to-house enquiries and a thorough review of CCTV, we are now in a position to release CCTV images of a man who may be able to help with enquiries.

“I would urge anyone who recognises him to get in touch.“ Drivers with dashcams who may have been in the area at the time of the robbery are being asked to check for footage.

“Just before 11.55pm on Tuesday 9 May 2023, a teenager exited a bus to continue his journey home by foot when he was approached by a man in Woodberry Grove.

“It is alleged the man threatened the boy with a knife and stole his black ‘Moncler’ jacket.

“Drivers with dashcams who may have been in the area at the time of the incident are asked to check for relevant footage.”
