First give is a programme built to encourage young people to talk about a social issue that matters to their class. This helps build students’ confidence, and helps show young people social problems across the world, and what can be done to prevent it.

That is why WCGS students have decided to talk about a social issue and what can be done about it, the first give programme has allowed them to find a social issue they want to discuss and what can be done about it.

Cranstoun Inspire is a small, non-profit charity in Sutton, which has helped plenty of people, their main focus is to help people who have issues with drugs and/or alcohol, which is a leading cause for many other problems such as unemployment, and other long term negative effects such as addiction. This Is Local London:

These helpful, amazing people have helped more than fifteen thousand people over fifty years of which over seventy percent have said that their health has greatly improved since they have started their program. They would also stay connected with these kind hearted people of the charity who enter their program to make sure they don’t return to harmful drugs since drugs are addictive, harmful and can cause many problems later on in life.

Drugs will most likely ruin a prospect of a normal, fruitful life by slowly harming your cognitive abilities, constant fatigue, sudden weight loss or gain. In really severe cases, organ failure and early death. Alcohol may be less serious than drugs but can still cause major health problems and long term effects such as: difficulty focusing, high blood pressure and in the worst case scenarios, heart disease, liver damage, digestive issues, cancer and death.

As the hard working decades passed by slowly, Cranstoun helped more and more people and their stories are available on their website: https://cranstoun.org/help-and-advice/alcohol-other-drugs/inspire-sutton. These heroic services were developed to help people of all ages, particularly young people who are more vulnerable, as well as many others.
