Students across Barnet have received their initial offers of places at secondary schools.

This year, the council received 7,864 on time applications. 4,406 were from Barnet residents, and 3,458 were from residents in other boroughs.

Of these, nearly 72 per cent were successful in securing a place at their first choice school - and nearly 90 per cent were offered at least one of their top three preferences.

This is the fourth consecutive year that every parent or carer who applied on time has received an offer of a place.

With this in mind, the Barnet Borough Times has compiled a list of the best and worst rated primary schools in Hackney, according to Ofsted.
