Covid-19 has had an astronomical effect on everyone. Every single individual has had a disruption in the last three years due to covid. The virus itself has caused many deaths but that is not the only thing that halted the lives of people.

Coronavirus has had a massive partake on people’s health. Having had more than 650 million cases world-wide which resulted in nearly over 6 million deaths. Even though the exact figures can never be determined due to rural parts of the world, the data that has been determined is a significantly large amount. Showing that corona virus has not been easy to tackle. Due to the large amount of many immune systems being weakened, the life expectancy has decreased significantly from 2020. It has even gained the title of the top 10 deadliest plagues in history. It especially has made a significant impact due to the virus beginning during the 21st century.

Moving forward, covid also had a mental toll on many individuals. The main reason is due to lockdown. During 2020-2021, where the UK lockdowns took place. In these years, many people experienced some form of depression, anxiety, loneliness. All due to the pretentious lockdown, the world was provided with. Many felt vulnerable. Having no day-to-day activities to fill their day up with, especially having no work. This led to boredom which led to mental illness. Many young teens suffered the short end of the straw. Whilst also facing the problems described, the outlook for young people would be negative coping mechanisms, such as social media; before covid it was always described as a negative platform. So, to be spending more time on social media, as it was the most accessible outlook for young people when trying to get away with the predicament they had been put in, it indeed created mental problems and unnecessary addictions.

One of the most surprising things covid has affected is education. No matter the severity of your sneeze or cough, schools have always made a way of getting students to come in. due to Covid-19 more than one billion students are out of school world-wide. This has set many students back a year. If not, students have immensely struggled with the workload as they are not used to it. The vitality of every school year was not made clear until Covid-19, for many. Many schools attempted remote learning, which to students created a drain on their time, as they could not deal with not understanding the work nor the time and effort to learn by yourselves. Many households also consisted of more than 1 child at home. This resulted in more than one student learning from home, creating a problem in household due to the lack of remote learning resources as not everyone could afford such.
