The award-winning supernatural thriller continues performing at the West End in the Lyric Theatre now starring Cheryl Cole, Louis Ford, Scott Karim and Jake Wood. A ghost story is a suspenseful evening in which secrets are revealed, ghosts may make appearances and question whether their existence is real or not. Sam, Jenny's husband and astronomer, disagrees with her claims that their new house is haunted, as she keeps on witnessing abnormal occurrences happening around the house. They argue in front of their dinner guests, Lauren, an old friend, and Ben, a new partner about the existence of ghosts. Where they all unanimously decide to wait until 2:22 in order to find out the truth.

The theatre was packed with eager faces ready to witness the scary yet exciting start to the performance. It begins with Jenny, played by Cheryl, experiencing a jumpscare event that kept the audience at the edge of their seats, wanting to find out the reasons for the mysterious events. With more frightful screams randomly taking place, it's safe to say it was an adrenaline-filled night. The set was minimal but was effective for setting the scene, the house being half done adds to the plot of the couple just moving in with the newborn.

I would highly recommend going to see a comedic and intriguing story, as I myself had a great time watching the story unfold. 2:22 A Ghost Story ends its run on the 23rd of April 2023 so I would buy my tickets before it's too late!
