After an astonishing finish to the world cup, England have brought the cup home from Australia after beating Pakistan in the ICC T20 world cup. The twenty over team took victory in 2022 and end this year's season on a high.

Pakistan were chased down as they set 137 runs in their innings. The main man Ben stokes delivered a superb knock against Pakistan, scoring his first 50 in international T20 cricket. With the help of Sam Curran's 3 wickets, England managed to limit the score of Pakistan in the first innings and with fierce aggression they chased them down with 6 balls remaining.
