November is the time of the year when everything goes from being just a little bit Christmassy to extra Chrismassy. Regent Street included. It flipped its switch and the canopy of lights are once again beaming over centrals busy streets. Known as “The spirit of Christmas”, it’s really living up to its name, with thousands of people under the lights everyday feeling the christmas spirit that it radiates every night when the golds, silvers and blues shine down the streets. A feeling we all haven’t felt in a while.

The stunning lights that soar through the skies feature 45 magical ‘spirits’, which I guarantee will turn any bus trip up Regent Street into a dazzling experience. The Christmas spirit is not the only thing Regent Street is giving the city, this year, they’re also keeping their thoughts with eco-consciousness, by not keeping the display permanently illuminated. Alternatively, the spirits will light up between 3pm-11pm each day, to lessen their impact on the environment and create a more sustainable display.

Regent Streets annual lights add a hope, a joy and festivity that is not seen at any other time in the year. They make the city of London sparkle as one takes in the bedazzling displays and after a long year, they are much needed. The vibes are immaculate and truly a magical thing to see.

Christmas is well and truly on its way and the spirit of Christmas is slowly but surely arriving in London again.
