Brookfield School pupils put up their artwork and learned about the history of their local arts centre for Kids in Museums Takeover day.
Around 120 students from the school in Chester Road, Highgate spent the day at Lauderdale House learning how to run events, produce stories for their social media accounts, and display their artwork.
The national scheme aims to encourage pupils to explore their local heritage and museums.
In the run up to last Friday's takeover, the students worked with Education and Outreach officer Liv Clements on exhibits which reflect the house's 500-year-history - from designing a Tudor feast, to a new crest, and a plant inspired by former greenfingered resident James Yates.
They then saw their work up on the walls and windows of the arts centre in Waterlow Park.
