A male motorcyclist was taken to hospital following a crash with a car earlier today (November 15). 

Police were called at 12.05pm to reports of the incident, at the junction between the A12 and Pettits Lane, Romford. 

The London Ambulance Service was also in attendance, with a spokesperson saying an ambulance crew, a medic in a fast response car and an incident response officer were sent to the scene.

The motorcyclist, aged in his 30s, was taken to an east London hospital, where his condition is not life threatening. 

The driver of the car also stopped at the scene. No arrests have been made. 

Police are asking for anyone who witnessed the incident and is yet to speak to them to call 101 or tweet them at @MetCC quoting 2811/15NOV.
