A chain of wine bars and restaurants that aims for a neighbourhood feel is gearing up to open its sixth outlet in Crouch End.

Humble Grape will feel like a "cosy winery, with cork-clad walls, rustic crates, and oak tabletops" when it opens in Topsfield Parade next month.

The chain already has outlets in Islington, Battersea, Fleet Street, Liverpool Street and Canary Wharf.

It says the space is geared for "cosy date nights", gangs of friends enjoying Saturday lunch and is dog friendly for Sunday roasts.

A semi-private Cellar Room will seat 12 whilst there will be an al fresco terrace for warm weather.

Wine enthusiasts will help customers team their meals with wine and there will be regular tastings and masterclasses.

The shelves, in-bar and through its online shop, will be stacked with 400 sustainable wines imported directly from Humble Grape’s 'Hero Producers'.

Owner James Dawson said: “We are hugely excited about bringing Humble Grape to Crouch End.

"The local community feel in the area is something we strive to pull through in all our wine bars and restaurants, and Crouch End holds that same neighbourhood feeling.”
