It's curtain up for amateur dramatics in Hampstead and Highgate with performers disrobing for a good cause in Calendar Girls - and a ghostly ex turning up at a seance in Blithe Spirit.

Garden Suburb Theatre has already sold out the first night of Tim Firth's moving comedy about a Women's Institute who pose nude for a fundraising calendar when a much loved husband dies of cancer.
