Two people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Gabriel Petrov Stoyanov.

A 16-year-old boy attended a south London police station earlier today (November 12) and was arrested on suspicion of murder.

He remains in custody.

On Friday night (November 11), a 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

He was taken to a south London police station where he remains in custody.

Two boys, aged 14 and 17, were charged with murder on Friday, November 11.

They appeared at Bexley Youth Court on the same day.

They were remanded into the care of the local authority and will appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, November 15.

A murder investigation was launched after Gabriel Petrov Stoyanov was stabbed in Bromley Road, Downham after an incident shortly before midnight on Friday, November 4.

Officers attended along with colleagues from the London Ambulance Service.

They found 21-year-old Gabriel suffering stab injuries.

Gabriel was taken to hospital for treatment but died during the afternoon of Saturday, November 5.

"We have now located a male who we previously named in a wanted appeal.

“Whilst four people have now been arrested, with two of those charged, I am still keen to hear from anyone with information who has not yet come forward. Did you see or hear anything? Please make the call.”
