For the first time in two years the Carshalton park fireworks lit up the sky, with a spectacular array of different coloured, patterns and size fireworks which left the audience in awe. Usually along with the breathtaking fireworks there is a massive bonfire inside of the park to help celebrate Guy Fawkes Night each year, however due to the environmental issues this causes they introduced the light and laser show. The show was entertaining yet their selection of music to pair with the show made it an even better experience to participate in.

There were technical difficulties that occurred just as the fireworks display was about to begin. The crowd were anticipating the fireworks but in the meantime the community joined together to wait, talking amongst ourselves to speed up time kept us amused, and again the fantastic playlist which kept us dancing despite all the rain. Friends and families walked from all different directions towards the park, making the park filled with life. This made it especially hard to find a spot to have a good view and it was tricky to get around, but eventually with a bit of looking I found the perfect place to watch the fireworks clearly.

Luckily at 7:20 the rain came to a halt just as the fireworks began. We all gazed at the extravagant display and watched the vivid green, gold, red and blue colours against the night sky. The awe-inspiring sight of the fireworks will be engraved in my mind, a truly unforgettable night.

Once the fireworks concluded the smiles of childrens faces looked magical, the atmosphere around the park was positive and radiant. It was evident that the evening was a great success.
