At St Bede's,we did a cake sale to raise money to food banks in Redhill and Caterham.

To do this, year seven students wore red and years 8-13 wore blue to show their support to the food banks.

In addition to this, the SVP club(Saint Vincent de Paul)sold hot chocolate and cookies to the students;cookies for 50p and hot chocolate for £1.

After the cake sale,we raised around £300 for the food banks.

This will help people who can't buy anymore food because of the living crisis that is going on currently and to help the food banks to get the food that they need to suppourt the community and others as we try and get through this tough and terrible time as families are struggling just to put food on the table for them and their children.

We also thank all the year 7 students and the SVP club members for doing this and God bless them as we go through this tough time.
