New Gluten-Free ‘Ma Ma Boutique Bakery’ has recently opened on 30 Chiswick Highroad, W4 1TE. This bakery provides delicious food options to those who suffer adverse health effects from consuming gluten, or for those who simply choose to adopt a healthier diet.

1% of the world’s entire population has a gluten auto-immune disease known as Coeliac disease. This is roughly 78 million people, which includes my older brother who happens to be one of many who possesses this disease. Coeliac disease has cause issues for him, and many others around the globe, due to the lack of gluten-free alternatives for many foods, however, times are changing.

Ma Ma Boutique bakery’s recent opening has attracted those living the gluten-free lifestyle from all over, as described by Nigel: co-owner of the bakery with his wife, Marzena. Nigel and Marzena are also in a family with Coeliac members like my family. Their wide range of Gluten-free and Vegan options is extremely inclusive to all members of the community, and this bakery has already had an extremely beneficial effect to its many customers.

The small family-run business prides itself on its no waste policy, and the family has adopted a sustainable approach to the business. The shop has a wide range of Gluten-free foods, including delicious cookies, cakes and pastries, for its customers to enjoy without the health effects they may suffer from consuming gluten.

Due to the family’s innovative idea of a completely gluten-free bakery many people, whether they have a gluten allergy or not can enjoy the pastries on offer. This bakery has had a large effect on my brother, and I believe this idea should be spread universally to help those who have Coeliac disease across the globe.
